Welcome

This is the website of Hockliffe Street Baptist Church. This lively evangelical church is located in the centre of Leighton Buzzard, Beds, with an active membership of nearly 150 people and a typical Sunday morning congregation of over 150. The church's vision is simply expressed as to Know Jesus and to Share Jesus.
We aspire to be:

• Gospel centered
• Worship hearted
• God dependent
• Mission orientated
• Community focussed

We are a community learning to know and follow Jesus Christ. We are being transformed by his grace through the Holy Spirit and aim to be passionate in our worship of God. We are seeking to be generous and caring for others as we faithfully share the message of Jesus and serve him in the wider community.

We set out to achieve this vision with a wide-ranging programme covering our Sunday worship services and children's work, and prayer meetings and fellowship groups together with youth and community work during the week.
